Our Mission

The Coalition aims to bring a united response to human trafficking both sex and labor, sextortion and sexual exploitation through prevention, awareness, outreach, education, and intervention.

Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center leads the Coalition with a collaborative model with various organizations, groups, and individuals within the Desert communities and throughout Riverside County.

Purpose

Our purpose is to promote public awareness though education and training of individuals, school districts, student organizations, social and philanthropic clubs, faith-based organizations, medical providers, and key industries about the existence, indicators, and reporting of suspected sex and labor trafficking, sextortion, and sexual exploitation.

About Us

In 2021, Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center (BSCC) and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department co-collaborated in a strategic plan to emphasize Eastern Riverside’s proactive outreach, awareness, and response to human trafficking. The collaboration framework would be victim-centered and trauma-sensitive led from investigations to services.

Join the Coalition

We are looking for community partners in good standing to share the Coalition’s mission and purpose and be a committed partner. Membership is available for representatives from regulatory agencies, social service agencies, victim service providers, community-based organizations, school districts, faith-based organizations, allied professionals, and criminal justice system-based victim assistance components.
