In 2021, Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center (BSCC) and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department co-collaborated in a strategic plan to emphasize Eastern Riverside’s proactive outreach, awareness, and response to human trafficking. The collaboration framework would be victim-centered and trauma-sensitive led from investigations to services. Through this vision, the Coalition to End Human Trafficking Coachella Valley was constructed.
In 2022, due to the vast geographical service area of our county and evolved partnerships, the Coalition to End Human Trafficking Coachella Valley now incorporates all of Riverside County. The Coalition has a diverse group of stakeholders working in a collaborative effort to combat both Sex and Labor trafficking throughout Riverside County.
Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center is the lead victim service provider for the Coalition and the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) with two additional instrumental victim service providers strategically located throughout the county: REACH located in Hemet and Rebirth Homes located in Riverside.
BSCC works diligently with many other active service providers throughout the County of Riverside. See Partnerships.
